  • Stacey L. says: Kari we lived in Korea for 4 years 2001-2005 (2 years in Seoul 2+ years in Camp Humphreys just 25 minutes from Osan). I currently have a friend teaching at the DOD schools (military spouse) on Camp Humphreys. Be persistant in your pursuit of going Command Sponsored we loved everyday and had nothing but positive experiences from our time in Korea. As long as you are open minded to other cultures and the goal is to keep your family unit together you can easily look past some of the everyday convenieces you will go with out. My kids still talk about the kindness of the Korean people and having a tight knit community. Hope this helps. Best of luck Kari.
